Julie, a registered health visitor and paediatric nurse, has over 24 years’ nursing experience specialising in child health and now works as an independent health visitor, instructor and course tutor for To Baby and Beyond. She is a mother of twins and has supported 100's of families over the years on a range of issues. Julie is passionate about parents feeling supported in those early days and years.
As Julie is independent it means that she's able to arrange a 'virtual call' at a time convenient to you (including evenings and weekends on occasions).
Julie can offer general support and advice on the following:
- Preparing for your baby
- Home safety
- Feeding
- Weaning
- Eating (or not as the case may be)
- General child development and what to expect
- Work life / baby balance
- General concerns
- Behaviour
Please note this is not intended to take the place of your NHS health visitor as I am not able to assess your child 'virtually' and always recommend you continue to see your NHS health visitor along side any support we offer. If you would like to discuss your child's development I can only offer general advice and recommend you have your developmental assessments as planned with your NHS health visitor.
