Julie, a registered health visitor and paediatric nurse, has over 24 years’ nursing experience specialising in child health and now works as an independent health visitor, instructor and course tutor for To Baby and Beyond. She is a mother of twins and has supported 100's of families over the years on a range of issues. Julie is passionate about parents feeling supported in those early days and years.
As Julie is independent it means that she's able to arrange a 'virtual visit' at a time convenient to you (including evenings and weekends on occasions) which means that you don't have to wait around for an already overloaded NHS health visitor to squeeze you into their schedule. We are finding during COVID-19 crisis that parents are more readily seeking support from our services as they are looking for in-depth and ongoing support at a time which supports and suits their family.
Julie can offer support and advice on the following:
- Preparing for your baby
- Home safety
- Eating (or not as the case may be)
- Development and what to expect
- Work life / baby balance
- General concerns
